In Australia, Make Poverty History is a coalition of aid agencies, community groups and celebrities. Globally there is a Call to Action Against Poverty, a worldwide alliance calling world leaders to live up to their promises and make a breakthrough on poverty. The Make Poverty History campaign is Australia's opportunity to respond to that call. The symbol of the international campaign is a simple White Band worn around the wrist, your arm - in fact anywhere you like that it can be seen by everyone!
